DONALD BAGBEY; TAMMY BAGBEY

Webster Parish Sheriff’s investigators and Minden Police detectives joined forces yesterday to put two locals behind bars for operation of a clandestine lab, allegedly for the purpose of manufacturing methamphetamines. During the search and arrest investigators discovered other criminal activities including theft of utilities.

Donald E. Bagbey, 50, and Tammy Ann Bagbey, 49, both of Miller Road in Minden were arrested and charged with creation and operation of a clandestine lab, possession of a CDS schedule II (meth), possession of a CDS schedule I (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of utility service.

Webster narcotics officers received information Friday morning indicating that the Bagbeys, who both have extensive histories of drug related activities, were allegedly manufacturing the drug at their Minden residence. Agencies teamed up and upon arrival at the residence were granted permission to search the home.

The search turned up suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, and ingredients and items used in the manufacturing of meth. Officers also found an interesting wiring job rigged by the Bagbeys to receive electric utilities to the home without being metered.

Both subjects were taken into custody and transported for booking at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center. Rusk County, Texas has placed a hold on Tammy Bagbey, as she is wanted there on drug related charges.
