Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance call on SE 2nd Street in Sibley on Sunday morning. It was there that deputies learned that a resident in the home was alleged to have child pornography in his possession.

Webster Sheriff’s cybercrime investigators Lt. Dustin Reynolds and Sgt. Scott Tucker responded to the scene, where 22-year-old Nicholas Chambers admitted to having downloaded pornographic materials involving juveniles.

Following a search of Chambers’ residence, investigators seized computers from the home to investigate. Officers also recovered drug paraphernalia among Chambers’ belongings.

“During the initial forensic preview of Chambers’ computer we discovered at least six different images of child pornography,” said Reynolds. “A full forensic search will be conducted to determine what else may be there.”

Chambers was charged with one count of possession of pornography involving juveniles, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was transported and booked into the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.

Investigators say that additional charges are possible following the completion of a full forensic search of the computers.
