Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies, following up with last week’s narcotics roundup “Operation Painkiller”, apprehended another of the parish’s most wanted.

 

Meshell Jacquline Thomas, 38, of Springhill was located and arrested by deputies Monday. Thomas was charged with distribution of a CDS Schedule II, and distribution of a CDS Schedule IV.

 

This arrest followed several others made by sheriff’s deputies and local law enforcement last week in the Springhill area during a narcotics roundup of nearly a dozen wanted for distributing illegal drugs. Officers were unable to locate Thomas on the day of the roundup. Now in custody, Thomas was booked at Webster Parish’s Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on a $100,000 bond.
