Webster deputies arrest Shreveport man for possession
-Man’s unusually nervous behavior was tip-off
Doyline, La. -- Jan 15, 2010 --

Late Thursday night Webster Parish Sheriff’s Community Action Directive Patrol team members made a common traffic stop that ended in an arrest for possession of marijuana.

Terry Lynn Davlin, 33, of Shreveport was charged with one count of possession of a CDS Schedule I (marijuana) after officers made the stop.

“He was extremely nervous,” said arresting officer Dep. Bobby Igo, III who was assisted by fellow team members Dep. Wade Wells and Lt. Robert Hayden. “He was only stopped for following too closely; but he was behaving so nervously we ensured for our safety that he was well searched.”

Deputies found the cause of Davlin’s heightened anxiety. Upon search deputies discovered a bag of suspected marijuana stuffed into his sock. He was then taken into custody and transported for booking to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
