June 18, 2009 – Sarepta, La.—Late Wednesday evening, Webster Parish Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested a Sarepta man wanted for distribution of marijuana. 

The arrest was made on a warrant that was issued following a three-month undercover investigation by Webster Sheriff narcotics officers.

Freddie Brown, 52, of Sarepta was taken into custody by deputies and charged with distribution of a CDS Schedule I, marijuana.  

Brown was a repeat offender according to Webster Sheriff’s Det. Sgt. Shawn Baker.  “He’s a multiple offender and we’ve been investigating him for a while now,” he said.   

Brown was transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center where he was booked into the parish jail on a $20,000 bond.
